Woohoo he is done :) My first paper clay doll...it took me a little while...and it was challenging but I loved to make him...so whimsy and prim looking at the same time...who knows maybe I'm spreading my wings a little bit into the world of paper clay?
I found the instruction in an old Country Marketplace Magazine I made him after a design by Sylvia Anderson...what an great Artist she is!

Hi Ivonne, You did a wonderful job! I've seen Sylvia's creation which is nice, but I can definitely tell that you put your own style on this as well, especially in the face. It's delightful!

I love the look of paperclay. I just started using it a few months ago!! I just hate waiting for it to dry though. Especially after using polymer clay which is faster. I think you did a great job!!
Ivonne~~~ You are just Awesome~ Love this~*~ Did you say you were going to tuck it in my little box ~

Ivonne... you did a splendid job. He is so beautiful can't hardly think he is your first but knowing you ~~ all your work is perfection anyway. He is great and like Pam I can't wait to see what else you come up with. I have worked with paper clay for a while now and just love it.

A while ago I wanted to make a Halloween doll head...it didn't turn out at all and I tossed it...I thought to myself that is way to hard to make but in a way a was curious so I tried it again and it worked...but it took me a while :)
