* My sweet Maja...*

Today was a very hard day for me and my cat...I had to put my dear cat Maja down...she was so sick...I didn't want her to suffer any longer...
Maja is a Main Coon such a beautiful, smart, gentle and adoreable cat...she was living with us for 17 1/2 years she was my real first pet...I had no idea how hard it is to let an animal go...she was a part of my family...and will always be!
My friend Jennie went with me to the Vet for support and afterwards we buried her at a nice place on her property...I'm so thankful for that...I know we have to move again in 2 years and Jennie is planning to stay for a long time...that makes me feel better. Even her dog Tye and her cat Muffin joined in us as we put her in the ground...
Jennie thank you so very much for being there for me...you are such a sweet person...I'm glad I'm having you as my friend :)
Maybe she will sit in my Dad's lap now :)
Maja, we love you!

I'm so sorry to hear about your loved one Maja! I too have a main coon that is still living with my Mother in Ohio.I know how hard it is to let go of a pet but I can bet she does have a warm spot in your Father's lap and they are both smiling down on you now!

oh Ivonne, I'm so sorry. I know how deep your love for your sweet Maja is. I'm so thankful that you have a good friend to help you through this very rough time. You gave your sweet Kitty a wonderful life, and I hope that it will bring you comfort some day just knowing what a good life she had b/c of you.
Your baby got to cross the Rainbow bridge today, and yes, I'll bet she's curled up on your dear Fathers lap, purring away, w/ no more pain or suffering, thanks to your being so merciful.

Sending you hugs and wishes for comfort.

I'm so sorry. :(
17 1/2 years is a long time, but that doesn't make you miss her any less.
So good that you found her a nice resting spot and I also love the thought of her keeping your dad company. :)

So sorry for our loss. I am sure it was such a terrible thing to go thru. I have been there. My husband wants a main coon. I am not sure. I heard they are territorial and I want more animals...Maybe when we have a farm.

I hope you remember all the good memories and not the bad. Take care!

Ivonne,
I am so, so very sorry for your loss of your beloved kitty. I know just how you feel. Letting a pet go is very hard and feels just like the loss of a family member.
May God heal your heart and hopefully you can love another kitty in time.
Blessings,Pea

I am sorry for the loss of your kitty. I know how it feels to loose the loved one, My fat Siamese of 15 years passed away 6 years ago. I still miss her dearly. She was my little girl I didn't have, and when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter, she passed. She had wonderful life. So sorry. I have given you an award on my blog, come grab it sweetie when you're feeling better.
